1084. Ralph Curtis Meader (1873 - 1928)
Ralph Curtis Meader, son of Nathan Meader (1843-1900) [1046] and Mary McKee (1840-1817), was born at Auburn, Nebraska January 4, 18?3 and died August 9, 1928 at Byers, CO. He was buried in the Fairmount Cemetery, Denver. Raised at Auburn and Highland, Nebraska, he married and had gone to Burlington, CO to homestead when their second child was born. After his father's death he returned to Nebraska to help his mother sell the farm. The family then moved to Fairfield, NE where they farmed until they moved to Byers. There he served on the board of education, and the family joined the Presbyterian church as no Methodist church was there. After Ralph's death in 1928 the family (Olive, Earl, Milly, Ethel and her son Dean) moved to Littleton, CO. After Olive's death in 1954 Milly was left alone, so she sold and moved to Englewood. After the death of Earl's wife he moved in with Milly, and they sold there and moved to Denver.
February 6, 1898 he married Olive Florence Martin in Brownsville, born June 25, 1877 in Nebraska daughter of Edward Byron Martin and Martha Jane Randol. She died June 2, 1954 at Denver.
