1057. Daniel G. Meader (1836 - 1905)
Daniel G. Meader, son of Allen Meader (1810~ ) [0262] and Sarah Copp ( - ), was born in Ellsworth, ME January 29, 1836 and died at Eldora, IA August 13, 1905. He married Agnes Copp. daughter of Thomas G. Copp, who was probably brother to Sarah Copp, Daniel's mother, and Hattie L. B. Wass. Agnes was born in Boston March 20, 1843 and died at Eldora January 23, 1918. They were married September 20, 1865 in Hardin Co., IA. He served during the Civil War in Co. B, 6th Maine Infantry. He moved to Iowa in February, 1865.
