Note that her name is not correctly listed "MRS PERMELIA B. FAGG: Mrs. Permelia Blackmarr Fagg, 99, of 2 Park Street,(Norwalk, CT) died on Saturday (14 Feb 1970) in Ridgefield (CT). She was the wife of the late Elias B. Fagg. She was born in Decorah, Ia. on Oct. 9, 1870, the daughter of Charles and Rozina (Rosina) Blackmarr Meader. She had resided here (Norwalk, CT) many years. Mrs. Fagg was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and was a former member of the Woman's Board of Norwalk Hospital. She is survived by a son, Charles C. (Clark) Fagg of Darien (CT) and a daughter Mrs. Ambrose T. Gosling (Helen Meader Fagg) of Bermuda. A private funeral service was held Tuesday at the Bouton and Reynolds Funeral Home, 545 Bedfore Street, Stamford with Rev. Dr. Edward H Ehart Jr. officiating. Interment was in Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. Memorial gifts to Grace Episcopal Church will be appreciated by the family." I remember spending some weeks at her home in Ridge Farms, CT, (now 211 Fillow Rd.) as a youngster in 1942 and visiting her with my fiance in late 1956 at the 2 Park Street address. At this time she was still driving her own car and living on a second floor with a full flight of steps to climb.
