0200. Ann Meader (1814 - 1872)
Ann Meader, daughter of James Meader (1779-1829) [0096] and Lucy Bromley (1790-1876), was born in 1814, probably in the North Easton, Washington, NY area, and died in 1872, probably at the home of one of her daughters in Worcester, MA. In 1830 she moved with her mother to the Plattsburgh area. She married L. C. Risley, who died before 1865. He was the first postmaster at Wrightsville, Clinton, NY. After his death the family moved to Holyoke, MA. She is buried in West Chazy Rural Cemetery.
The children of Ann Meader and L. C. Risley were:
i. Mary Risley. She married Joseph Blood of Worcester and was living in 1883.
ii. Sarah Risley. She married Judson Stanton of Worcester and was living in 1883.
iii. Samuel C. Risley, born in 1844. He died in 1862 in the Civil War. He is buried in West Chazy Rural Cemetery.
