Stephen Meader, son of John Meader (c.1790-1833) [0128] and Betsey Edgerly (  –  ), was born January 1, 1820, probably in the Durham, NH area, and died in Newmarket, NH October 29, 1890. He married Mary J. Pinkham of Newmarket, born December 31, 1823 and died March 2, 1907. They settled in Newmarket. He built a house on the farm where his father John [0128] and grandfather Stephen [0048] had lived, and where his son James Dudley later lived.
