John Meader, son of Stephen Meader (1758-1819) [0048] and Rose Quimby ( – ), was possibly born in the Durham, NH area about 1792 and died May 16, 1834. On August 15, 1813 at Durham he, then of Newington, NH, married Betsey Edgerly of Durham, born in 1790, the daughter of John Edgerly and Temperance Durrell, and died in 1854. Both were buried in the Newmarket, NH cemetery.
