0111. Enos Meader (1790 – 1864)

Enos Meader, son of Joseph Meader (1753-1820) [0042] and Elizabeth Gould (1756-1814), was born April 2, 1790 and died September 20, 1864, both probably in Rochester, NH.

He married:
1)     Sally Jewell, daughter of John and Sarah Jewell of Sandwich, NH, October 29, 1815. She was born July 20, 1795 and died February 2, 1839 [Volume I gives February 28]. They lived in Lincoln, VT. She and the three older children are listed in the Lincoln Friends Meeting records of the late 1820s.
The children of Enos Meader and Sally Jewell were:
0220 i. John J. Meader, born September 12, 1816 and died May 7, 1885.
0221 ii. Eliza Meader, born June 19, 1818.
0222 iii. Ezekiel Meader, born July 22, 1820.
0223 iv. Albert Meader, born March 29, 1830.
2)     Anna Palmer on July 13, 1843. She was born in Fairfax, VT February 23, 1802 daughter of Joseph and Electa Palmer, and died March 11, 1865 at Charlotte. They had no children.
