1637. Mary L. Meader (1817 - 1888)
Mary L. Meader, daughter of Levi Meader (b.1772) [0071] and Eunice Meader (1777-1834), was born in Lincoln, Vermont about 1817 and died in Boston, MA March 22, 1888. December 4, 1837 she married Russell W. Nye, son of Zenas Nye and Katherine Woodruff. He was born at Westford, VT April 28, 1815 and died in Vergennes, VT October 13, 1879. He was a marble dealer.
The children of Mary Meader and Russell Nye were:
i. Louise Juanita Nye, born January 22, 1839 in Vergennes.
She married:
1) Lewis Collins. They had a daughter.
2) Frank Churchill in 1881. They lived in New York City.
ii. Cora Kate Nye, born July 27, 1856 and died February 24, 1874.
iii. George Russell Nye, born January 29, 1848 in Vergennes and died April 12, 1888 in Boston. His wife, Mary E. Nye, died April 14, 1888 and their only child, Georgiana Nye, born March 28, 1888, died April 20, 1888. Since Mary L. Meader was apparently living with her son when she died, the entire household was wiped out between March 22 and April 20, 1888, presumably by a contagious disease.
Louise Juanita Nye Churchill, went one to be named in the "Women's Who's Who in America" for her tireless work in NYC with the "Little Mother's" program among others. (The work as I understand was in the field of sterilization of baby bottles and household items so as to prevent disease. ~mlc) Reading your information about her family now puts it all together.

Louise Juanita Nye & Dr. Frank Churchill (of the Mayflower decendants Warren, Tilley,Brewester) had only one daughter, Margaret Louise Churchill.
Margaret Louise married Alfred Lester Cornwell (NY), (who later became one of the longest running President's of the F.W.Woolworth Company 1946-1954). They bore one son, Bishop Churchill Cornwell. Margaret died in 1947 in Ct and is buried in Oswego Co., NY. Alfred died in 1968 and is also buried in Oswego Co., NY.
Their only son, Bishop Churchill Cornwell married Elisabeth Jane Weber (an only daughter),they bore 2 children, Bishop Churchill Cornwell Jr., and Elisabeth Jane Cornwell.
Bishop Churchill Cornwell Jr. married Ellen Celine Conmy, and their second of three children was named after her great-grandmother, Margaret Louise.
