Elizabeth Juliette Meader, a daughter of Granville Erwin Meader (1859-1903) [0488] and Rhuhama Bertha Peach (1878-1962), was born at Ryegate, VT October 5, 1903. She was graduated from the Plymouth Normal School in 1923 and went to Sandwich, NH in 1924 as a teacher at the North Sandwich Grade School. July 5, 1925 at Sandwich she married Clarence M. Brown, born at Sandwich February 19, 1904 the son of Frank W. Brown and Alice Q. Elliott. He died September 24, 1971 and she died in 1988.
The children of Elizabeth Meader and Clarence Brown were:
i. Frank Granville Brown, born June 6, 1926. September 27, 1945 at Meredith, NH he married Jean Leach, born at Sandwich February 28, 1927 the daughter of William A. Leach and Dorothy Weld. They had a son:
a. James Frank Brown, born May 10, 1951.
ii. Janet Brown, born May 4, 1936 at Laconia Hospital, Laconia, NH. A graduate of the Quimby School, Sandwich, she attended the Laconia Business College and Concord Commercial College. She was a secretary for many years, a bookkeeper, etc. She lived with her mother until her mother's death.
