Elizabeth Alden Meader, daughter of Walter Sidney Meader (1857-1938) [1024] and Lucy Hawkes (1865-1952), was born April 25, 1906 in Gonic, NH. She graduated from Moses Brown School and Plymouth Normal School. For five years she taught second grade in Dover, NH. After marrying, she moved to Nashua, NH where she lived until 1972, when she moved back to the old Meader homestead in Dover.
January 16, 1932 in Dover she married George Sanders Niles, born in Nashua November 18, 1908 the son of Serena Gertrude Sanders and William Porter Niles.
The children of Elizabeth Meader and George Niles were:
i. Margaret S. Niles, born in 1932. In 1952 she married George Randall Booth. She died in 1953.
ii. Lucy Alden Niles, born in 1935. In 1957 she married J. Donald Silva. They lived in Newcastle, NH. They had four children.
iii. George Sanders Niles, born in 1945. In 1971 he married Cheryl Bucklin. They lived in Dover.
