George Lewis Yaple Meader, son of Robert Eugene Meader (1871-1952) [0455] and Jennie Gibson (1869-1929), was born September 13, 1907 in Benton Harbor, MI. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Michigan Law School. He was a member of the 82nd to 88th U. S. Congress from Michigan and was counsel for several committees. Later he was Counsel to the Joint Committee on Congressional Operations. He married Elizabeth Barbara Faeth in Bowling Green, OH November 19, 1928. She was born October 26, 1906 the daughter of Nikolaus and Maria Faeth. She died December 30, 1974. George Meader lived in Washington, DC.
