0479. Frederick Everett Meader (1872 - 1944)
Frederick Everett Meader, son of Samuel Arnold Meader(1838-1916) [0374] and Maria Mackintosh (1842-1940), was born, probably in Wolfeboro, NH, August 25, 1872 and died January 7, 1944. He was graduated from Harvard Dental School in 1895. For two years he was an instructor there. From 1897 to 1914 he had offices on Boylston Street, Boston, and weekend offices in Wolfeboro. In 1914 he closed out his Boston practice and removed permanently to Wolfeboro.
Dr. Meader was a past master of Zetland Lodge, A. P. & A. M., Boston, 32nd degree Mason; past grand patron of the Mew Hampshire Order of Eastern Star; member and head usher of the Congregational Church of Wolfeboro; a charter member of the Wolfeboro Rotary Club; member of both Massachusetts and New Hampshire Dental Societies; chairman of the Wolfeboro chapter of the American Red Cross for many years; member of the Wolfeboro Budget Committee ever since its organization; and member of the Parks and Playgrounds Commission.
He married:
1) Sarah Morse Whitton, daughter of Oscar F. Whitton and Clara Blake, on October 19, 1898. She was born August 31, 1875 and died May 2, 1927.

0585 i. Robert Francis Whitton Meader, born January 12, 1908.
2) Alta May Bailey on September 2, 1928. She was the daughter of Charles 0. Bailey and Mary J. Durgin of Sunapee, NH, born April 16, 1878 and died June 14, 1956. All her life until her marriage she was a teacher of English.
