Myron Elmer Meader, son of David Meader (1805-1869) [0233] and Betsey Cole (1821-1870), was born March 19, 1856 in Elkhart, IN. He graduated from Elkhart High School and read law with the firm of Baker and Mitchell of Goshen for four years. He was admitted to the bar in 1879, and he became a partner in the firm of Baker and Baker, charged with collections and office business. He lived in Goshen with his wife Lulu Stephenson.
