0119. Abigail Meader (1793 - 1839)
Abigail Meader, daughter of Ebenezer Meader (1746-1826) [0045] and Susanna Joy (1750-1803), was born at Wolfeboro, NH on May 3, 1793 and died June 12, 1839. On November 12, 1812 she married Charles S. Wiggin, son of Henry and Amy Wiggin, who was born February 24, 1788 and died in Newmarket, Rockingham, NH November 12, 1855.
The children of Abigail Meader and Charles Wiggin were:
i. Susanna Joy Wiggin, born December 14, 1814. On November 20, 1842 she married John Marshall of Columbia, just south of Colebrook, NH. They had three children.
ii. Charles H. Wiggin, born January 22, 1816 and died two days later.
iii. Amy H. Wiggin, born April 28, 1817 and died February 10, 1838.
iv. Elizabeth Meader Wiggin, born February 10, 1819 and died July 30, 1868. On February 21, 1837 she married Samuel H. Brackett, who was born September 29, 1813 and died April 12, 1884. They settled in Lemington, VT [not in atlas]. They had four children.
v. Henry Ebenezer Wiggin, born about 1821. In 1897 he was living with his son, Charles F. Wiggin. He married Jane S. Forest of Northfield, NH on December 26, 1843, and they settled in Colebrook, Coos, NH.
