Lucy Meader, daughter of James Meader (1779-1829) [0096] and Lucy Bromley (1790-1876), was born in 1823, probably in the North Easton, Washington, NY area, and died in 1901. In 1830 she moved with her mother to the Plattsburgh area where her uncle Robert Meader, her father's brother, and her aunt, Robert's wife and Lucy’s mother’s sister, had already settled. Before Lucy was ten her mother had married Andrew Farrell, who kept Farrell's Tavern on the old Military Turnpike.
Lucy Meader married Lewis B. Robinson, born in 1816 and died in 1883, a druggist in West Chazy, Clinton, NY. The Robinson family lived near the Farrells on the Military Turnpike.
