Micajah Meader, son of Benjamin Meader (1736-1827) [0022] and Patience Varney Hanson (1741-1825), was born, probably in Rochester, NH, on August 24, 1769 and died June 16, 1850, in his 81st year. He married Sarah Robinson, born in Vassalboro, Kennebec, Maine December 28, 1777 and died September 11, 1849, in her 72nd year. Since he is listed in the 1790 Census as probably a member of his father's household at that time, he was probably not married then.
Sometime between the 1790 Census and the summer of 1791 he moved to Lewiston, Maine, probably to join his brother Tobias [0059]. His Removal Certificate from the Dover Monthly Meeting was Issued on August 20, 1791 and sent to the Durham Monthly Meeting. He lived on a farm near his brother's for a while, and then he moved away, perhaps after marriage, probably to Albion.
