1869. Otis Meader (1835 - 1911)
Otis Meader, son of Hanson Meader (1807-1881) [1006] and Jane Hanson (1814-1889), was born December 2, 1835 in Albion, ME and died February 14, 1911. December 7, 1856 in Freedom, ME, he married Hannah Fuller of Albion, born December 31, 1834 and died January 13, 1908. She was the daughter of Jonathan Fuller and Bashaba Bradstreet of Freedom, ME.
Although he lived on the family farm on Quaker Hill in the eastern part of Albion, and was known as a farmer, he did not do much farming. He taught school, served as a Selectman, Justice of the Peace and Sunday School teacher, and wrote articles for farm journals of the day. He left the farming generally to his father and his sons.

1870 i. Arthur Hanson Meader, born April 12, 1858. He died unmarried December 23, 1901.

1871 iv. Wilmont Hanson Meader, born May 8, 1865 and died February 4, 1889. He was not married.
0412 v. Charles Edwin Meader, born March 13, 1869 and died February 26, 1944.
0413 vi. Alice Hannah Meader, born March 28, 1871 and died April 3, 1967.
