Love Meader, daughter of Nathaniel Meader (b.1700) [1189] and Rachel Sias ( – ), was born in the Durham area about 1734. About 1752 she married Zacheus Clough, born about 1725 in Kingston, NH. He was a blacksmith. They lived in Lee. He was a soldier in the French and Indian Wars, in 1766, in Capt. Archelaus Woodman's Co., Major General John Sullivan’s Division of Durham in the Provincial Militia. He died about 1810.
