James G. Meader, Jr., son of James G. Meader (1794-p.1865) [1174] and Lydia Quimby (1796-1860), was born at Durham, NH in July, 1825 and died at South Berwick, ME October 12, 1848. January 5, 1845 at South Berwick he married Clarissa L. Knight, born March 8, 1828 the daughter of Stephen Knight and Sally Barnard, and sister of Barnard Knight. She later married Rufus Stephens September 11, 1859. She died December 16, 1911.
