Willard Lingel Meader, son of Robert P. Meader (1901-1978) [0569] and Louise Lingel (b.1908), was born in Fairview Hospital, LaPorte, IN, November 23, 1933. He received his A.B. degree from Albion College in 1954, his M.D. in 1958 from Temple University and his M.P.H. in 1964 from the University of California. He was a colonel in the Air Force, a flight surgeon, awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and Bronze Star. January 21, 1961 at McGuire Air Force Base he married Sharon Sue Inman, born March 12, 1941 the daughter of Elbert Ellis Inman and Hazel Catherine Hines. They lived in Springfield, VA.
