Frederick W. Meader, son of George F. Meader (1783-1868) [0098] and Charlotte Bromley (b.1784), was born in Easton, NY December 5, 1816 and died in Quaker Springs February 25, 1903. He moved to Quaker Springs in 1837. March 11, 1840 he married Sarah Wilde, born March 24, 1818 and died September 7, 1893, daughter of Isaac G. Wilde. The couple are buried in Quaker Cemetery, Quaker Springs.
He was an outstanding carpenter and builder of churches, schools, public buildings and houses.
