Martha Meader, daughter of Samuel Meader (1793-p.1828) [0093] and Mary Paddock (1794-1875), was born on Nantucket in 1825. She married John C. Coffin, son of George Coffin and Sarah Calder, and they moved to California, where he died in May, 1871.

Anna Meader Coffin and Jane L. Meader Mitchell, daughters of Nathan Meader [0091] were also in California, and Anna Coffin died there. They were first cousins of Martha Meader Coffin. Presumably they all lived in the same area of California.
