0178. Lydia Meader (1804 – 1887)

Lydia Meader, daughter of James Meader (1777-p.1815) [0075] and Content Winslow (  –  ), was born June 10, 1804, in China, ME [not in atlas], and died March 22 1887, in her 83rd year. She married Olney Thompson as his second wife. His first wife, also Lydia Meader, was his second wife's aunt and daughter of Jonathan Meader [0026]. Olney Thompson was born in 1799 and died April 22, 1864). He was an approved minister of the Society of Friends. She died at her residence near Muscatine, Iowa, a member and Elder of the Muscatine Monthly Meeting.
