George Meader, son of Paul Meader (1765-1842) [0068] and Deborah Knight ( – ), was born in Rumney, NH about 1794 and was alive in 1871. He married Sarah (Smith) Morrell of Holderness, NH, widow of Hibbard Morrell. She was born about 1801, cousin to Susan Smith Meader, wife of Elisha Meader [0165], George’s brother.
George Meader lived at Campton, Grafton, NH and then at Moultonborough, Carroll, NH. He moved to Haverhill, NH and lived for a while with his brother Elisha on Pond Road. Then he moved to Lisbon, Grafton, NH and to Randolph, Norfolk, MA. He died while living with his son George in Woonsocket, RI.
