James Meader, son of David Meader (1751-1838) [0047] and Sarah Bean (1751-1838), was born August 14, 1790, probably at Gilmantown [Volume I shows Starksboro, VT]. He moved from there to Ferrisburg where November 4, 1815 he married Nicea (Nicey) Bull, born May 7, 1795 daughter of Gideon and Abijah Bull of Farnham, and died April 22, 1868. [Volume I shows he moved to East Farnham, Quebec, Canada, and from there "Out West."]
Their certificate of Removal from Farnham to the Alum Creek OH Monthly Meeting was issued June 20, 1842. Alum Creek on February 23, 1843 recorded receiving Certificates for James, Nicea, Priscilla, Lydia, Levi, Eunice and Gideon (and wife). They later moved to Wisconsin and Nebraska.
