0122. Elizabeth Meader (1788 – 1828)

Elizabeth Meader, daughter of Isaac Meader (1750-1836) [0046] and Tamson Mathes (d.1837), was born in Durham, NH September 12, 1788 and died in Tamworth, Carroll, NH May 12, 1828. She married Samuel Moulton, who died about 1820.

The children of Elizabeth Meader and Samuel Moulton were:
i. Wyatt Moulton, born about 1810. He married Maria Dow of Sandwich, NH.
ii. John Moulton, born about 1812. He died at age 19.
iii. Samuel Moulton, born about 1814. He married Mary Young and died at age 23.
iv. Frederick Brown Moulton, born October 12, 1816 and died in Lebanon, NH December 16, 1857. He was a Free Will Baptist minister.
He married:

1)      Lydia Maria Brown of Tamworth, NH November 6, 1838. She was born September 15, 1819 and died June 4, 1853. They had four children.

2)      Hannah George. They had one child.
v. Alvah Moulton, born March 27, 1819. His first wife was a Tamworth woman. On September 26, 1855 he married Susan Preston Tapley of Dover, NH, born April 29, 1828. He was a stove merchant, and they lived at 571 Central Avenue, Dover. They had four children.
