0073. Elijah Meader (c.1785 – a.1833)

Elijah Meader, son of Elijah Meader (1744-1825) [0025] and Elizabeth Hoag (1749-1811), was probably born in Rochester, NH about 1785.

He married:
1)      Hannah Dame, born August 6, 1797 and died in August 13, 1831 and is buried in the Twombley Street Cemetery, Rochester. She was the daughter of Richard Dame and Hannah McDuffie of Rochester.
The children of Elijah Meader and Hannah Dame were:
1457 i. Almira Meader, born about 1825.
0174 ii. Richard Dame Meader, born in 1827 and died in 1889.
iii. Charles Meader, who died at the age of 7 in 1835.
2)      Abigail Cate, widow of Moses Cate of Wolfeboro, Carroll, NH, January 13, 1834. She was born in 1797 and died in 1866 [or 1886?].
The child of Elijah Meader and Abigail Cate was:
1458 iv. William H Meader, born in 1835 and died in 1910. He did not marry.
