Levi Meader, son of Elijah Meader (1744-1825) [0025] and Elizabeth Hoag (1749-1811), was born November 29, 1772, probably in Rochester, NH and died in Lincoln, VT July 13, 1836. He may have married and moved to Vermont before 1790 and Friends records indicate he was in the Danby, VT area in 1796. He married Eunice Meader [1406], daughter of David Meader[0047] and Sarah Bean of Starksboro, VT. They were third cousins. The Lincoln Quaker meetings were first held in his log house beginning in 1799. They settled in Lincoln, VT, where their children were born.
