Anne Meader, daughter of Nathaniel Meader (1741-1828) [0023] and Mary Hanson (d.1822), was born March 15, 1772, probably in Rochester, NH, and died December 12, 1852. On October 4, 1798 she married John Canney, undoubtedly a descendant of the Thomas Canney who settled in Piscataqua in 1631 and therefore related to the Martha Canney who married Moses Wyer Meader [0014].
